The Retired and Leisured Group of the WA Naturalists’ Club Inc. caters for members who are available and interested in attending daytime meetings.
The group meets monthly, usually on a Wednesday morning. Meetings take place in the Club office on the 1st floor at 82 Beaufort St, opposite the WA Museum.
Recent talks have covered a wide range of subjects from reptiles, cycads and Simon Cherriman on his beloved wedge-tailed Eagles to members’ travel adventures.
Sometimes the group goes on excursions to places like the Marine Discovery centre, various museums and the WA Newspapers tour as well as bushwalks and wetland visits. Meeting dates are listed on the Events calendar.
Full details and afterwards a report on the event are published in the Club’s monthly newsletter “The Naturalist News”.
