I think most frogs call to attract mates during the breeding season, so you might not hear anything from them at the moment. You might be able to find out which species you've got from the information on the FrogWatch website (http://tinyurl.com/7t7zsnk). Or you could talk to Denise at Cockburn Wetlands Centre.

I live in Bibra Lake and frogs have now hopped out of my fish pond.

I have seen green, brown and bronze coloured frogs in the garden.

How do I find out what the names of these frogs are?

None of the frogs croak - surely they can't all be females.

Regards
Yvonne

We had the most amazing time ever. I can't believe we saw so many fascinating animals. I can't wait to go back again.

The abundance of life is surprising for such a small lake. There were: turtles, dragonflies, a surprising amount of water fowl including nesting Swans, and frogs. It was so much fun. I especially loved the Long Necked Turtle.

I really enjoyed hunting for frogs and bats. We saw hundreds of spiders and some Moaning Frogs and a Slender Tree Frog. I learned lots about the different types of frogs and want to buy a good torch to search for wildlife at night.

Today we went back to Mettams Pool and went snorkelling and saw seven different types of fish, which were Boxfish, Yellowtail Scads, Silver Trevally, Silver Drummer, Western Talma, Red-lip Morwong, and Needlefish. When we were done grandma had impressions of the goggles on her face. Just when we were leaving we saw at least five Bottle-nosed Dolphins and it was the first time I had ever seen dolphins in my life!

When I went to Rottnest Island, on the horizon I saw a Humpback Whale. Yesterday we had a Boobook Owl in the garden. It left us a feather in the birdbath.
