The Serventy Memorial was established in 1989 as a memorial to the contribution by the Serventy family to the Club. The fund was established using a $1000 donation; and with the aim of assisting and encouraging young people in the study of natural history. Additional capital is raised for the fund by the annual Serventy Memorial Lecture and by seeking donations.
