Nominations are called for DRB committee positions, all of which will be vacated.
1. Chairperson
2. Vice Chair
3. Social Secretary
4. Treasurer
5. General Member
6. General Member

We would also like to have a Membership and Visitor Database Manager, and an Excursions co-ordinator. These do not have to be committee positions but they will be responsible for reporting to the committee, so it helps if they are.

13.7 of the constitution stipulates that we must have a Chairperson and such numbers of members as Council deems appropriate.

Members may nominate for any position. If you’re interested in joining the committee please contact Rachel at about what is involved and what is required. (It is helpful if people are on the internet and use email regularly.)

As of 30 September 2018, the following people have nominated: Chairperson – Rachel Green, Vice Chairperson – Kevn Griffiths, Treasurer – Mike Green, Social Secretary – Frankie Wallace, General Members – Eric McCrum and Sally Robertson.

Further nominations should be emailed to or handed to a committee member, (or mailed to PO Box 348 Kalamunda WA 6926) to arrive no later than Thursday 11 October 2018.

The October 11th deadline is because the constitution stipulates: 11.3: “Nominations in writing of members for election to branch committees shall be in the hands of the Secretary or his or her nominee by the date of the Council meeting immediately preceding the annual general meeting.”

NB: The Constitution stipulates that details of those who have nominated must be sent to all members a minimum of 14 days before the AGM, and therefore nominations are not accepted at the AGM.
