Meet:              Car-park on the foreshore opposite the river end of Cunningham St                 UBD 307, N12

Details:           The walk is to Point Walter and return, which is about 10Km. There is plenty of      interesting bird-life along sections of the foreshore so those interested should bring binoculars.

Wear clothes appropriate to the weather (i.e. hat / rainwear / sunscreen) and suitable footwear.  Bring morning tea and drinking water. Café refreshments available at Point Walter.

Bring chairs and early snack lunch to be enjoyed on the foreshore at the starting location.

A shorter walk is available of about 8Km by meeting up in the car-park at the western end of Tompkins Park alongside the Bowling Club at 0745
