Dryandra Woodland¦The Notley Late Easter Camp 2019

20 May-24 May

Tickets are not available as this event has passed.

Please use RSVP so that we know who is coming  whether you are camping or wanting a bunk in a cottage

The camp this year will be at Dryandra Woodland for 5 days (4 nights) starting Mon 20 May. One of the cottages at Dryandra Village has been booked (bunk bed accommodation) and there is a camping option as well.

We will be hiring one or two cottages at Dryandra Village (bunk bed accommodation in shared rooms and cooking facilities) costing $30 per person per night. There is also a camping option 12km away.

In a transition zone between Jarrah forest, Wandoo woodland and the Mallee-Wheatbelt, Dryandra is great country for bird-watching. There’s plenty of other wildlife to see also, and even the possibility of a Numbat sighting. A night-walk and a visit to Barna Mia sanctuary will be included.

Details for those definitely attending:

Arrive Dryandra Village about midday on 20 May and leave after midday on 25 May.

For those staying in the cottages, bring sheets & blankets or sleeping bag, & pillow. Pay at the time: $30 per night = $120 plus Barna Mia (Wednesday night) $22 or $16 concession.

Cottages have gas stove, cooking utensils and hot water. Bring your own food.

Most beds are double bunks. The toilet may be outside the cottage.

If camping (at Congelin) bring your own drinking water. There is a camp kitchen, a toilet and an open fireplace with a barbecue ring and wood supplied.

Bring binoculars, and a good torch for spotlighting.
