We have a unique opportunity to shape WA’s oldest marine park into a sustainable, coastal playground for the future. For more than 30 years people have explored and enjoyed Marmion Marine Park. Now the WA government is updating and expanding this well-loved marine park from the current northern boundary at Burns Rocks up to near Two Rocks. Monique and Talitha will share their experiences as a conservation organization working on national marine parks. There will also be a screening of a short documentary The Sea & Me which journeys around Australia’s big blue backyard, featuring local communities thriving alongside marine parks.
