Every year we walk a stretch of the coast with Fremantle as our ultimate goal. This year we will have to skip a short distance south of where we finished last year as we cannot enter the rifle range and SAS grounds at Swanbourne. Our destination this year is likely to bring back childhood memories.

Location:              Swanbourne to Cottesloe

Meet:                    Wood St, Swanbourne – under the trees (N side of Allen Pk). Look for the Nats sign.

Time:                     8:00am

Details:                 An easy 3km walk mainly on paths.

There are excellent examples of habitat restoration at various places.

Hopefully some fairy wrens along the way.

We will have some light refreshments before returning to our vehicles.

Option to partake of morning tea overlooking the ocean at The Shorehouse.
