‘Red Trees’ at Anthill

18 September, 7:30 pm

Our guest speaker, Hazel Dempster, will share with us her late spring journeys to witness the spectacular colour of the sandplains of East Binnu (approx. 60km northeast of Northampton).

Hazel has been a member of the Wildflower Society of WA for 45 years and is a Life Member of the Society. In 2013 she received the Australian Plants Award, the highest honour of the national peak body, the Australian Native Plants Society. Her vast knowledge has been gained from a lifetime study of Western Australian flora and her equally vast horticultural knowledge comes from 20 years’ nursery experience.

Members are reminded to bring specimens, observations, photos etc. for everyone to learn and enjoy and please remember to wear your name tag.
