Swan Foreshore and Tranby House Excursion

13 June, 9:30 am-1:00 pm

Join us on a walk along the Swan River to explore the samphire fields, watch for birds on the river, and visit Tranby House, also known as Peninsula Farm. Cost for viewing this National Trust property is $7 per person, to be paid on the day. Tranby House is one of the first farms in the Swan colony, constructed by Joseph Hardey in 1839.

When: 13 June, 9.30am till 13pm.
Where: We will meet at the Mayland Tennis Club carpark on the river foreshore, located on the eastern side of the tennis club (off Clarkson Road, Maylands).
Wear: suitable long-sleeved clothing, enclosed shoes.
Bring: binoculars, camera, insect repellent, morning tea (in case the café at Tranby House is closed).
