Meet at the Percy Marshall Field Station within Tutanning Nature Reserve (east of Pingelly) at midday Sat 7th Sept. Stay overnight and then head for home on Sunday whenever you want or need to.

Join us in exploring the Tutanning Nature Reserve (just over 2 hours from Perth, East of Pingelly), one of the Wheatbelt’s under-visited reserves (compared to Dryandra Woodland or Boyagin NR.) There’s the possibility of seeing numbats, echidna, birds and reptiles amongst the granite outcrops and wildflowers. We will also spotlight, with chances of seeing tammar wallaby and red-tailed phascogale.

BYO everything, including food, bedding, clothing, spotlight, etc. The hut sleeps 10+ in basic fashion but small tents/campers/swags can be placed on veranda or used in the clearing around the hut. Basic bathroom and kitchen facilities are provided. Tracks are mostly 2WD accessible but please use your judgement as conditions can change and it is sandy in places.

Please see the links for more information on the Tutanning NR and the accommodation: Tutanning Percy Marshall field-station. A3 copies of a map of the reserve will be handed out to all attendees.

Cost: $10 each, which Ry will collect and pass onto DBCA.
