Now in its 19th Year, The Annual WA Wetlands Conference is one of Australia’s largest and most influential conferences in wetland science, management and research held each year to commemorate World Wetlands Day in Perth, Western Australia.

World Wetlands Day is celebrated each year on 2 February to raise awareness about wetlands. This day also marks the anniversary of the Convention on Wetlands, which was adopted as an international treaty in 1971.
