Due to several members being away, it was a small group of members that attended the anniversary breakfast at the Rockingham Golf Club. Those that did attend were served a hearty breakfast and enjoyed views out over the fairways towards the woodlands surrounding Lake Cooloongup. A pair of Wood Ducks was seen bickering with Ringneck Parrots and Galahs over a potential nesting hollow in a nearby Tuart, a sign that nesting season for these birds is about to get underway. After breakfast we lingered and enjoyed discussions over coffee. It was good to once again catch up with Ann and Otto Mueller and as usual Otto had brought some objects to stimulate conversation. We all had a very enjoyable morning.
