A sophisticated biological stereo microscope presented to DRB Nats by Tim Clifford (MLC)

The DRB Nats were delighted to welcome Tim Clifford, The Greens (WA) MLC for the East Metropolitan region, at our DRB Nats meeting on 11th October for our first ever night at Woodlupine Hall in Forrestfield. Tim presented the club with a sophisticated stereo-microscope and five hand lenses. These will make a huge difference to the details we can see and study whether we are looking at insects, flowers or bird feathers.

Tim is shown presenting the microscope to some of our youngest and oldest members at the club, Gemma, Ella and Eric McCrum. Thank you so much Tim. Tim also stayed the whole night and was available to all the people who wanted to talk to him and in the end we had to throw everyone out at 10.40pm so we could go home! The microscope will be used straight-away and taken on our three day excursion to Kulin.
