A double-header. Our two speakers have recently returned from two very different journeys in two very different parts of the world. However, what they both witnessed was strikingly similar, the effects of climate change.

Mike Norman, a long standing bushland and coastcare coordinator, travelled to Europe again after mountain climbing/ hiking in Italy, Switzerland and France there with his Polish friends 25 years ago. His observations further confirmed the changes being caused by global warming, and he considers where we are most likely heading.

Peter Stephenson, retired Principal Research Scientist at the WA Department of Fisheries and now a consultant on commercial fish populations, was commissioned to study the dramatic change in fish stock in Alaskan waters. What he found, even astounded him.
