CALLING ALL FUNGI FORAYERS: Discover Nature’s Hidden Gems Beneath Your Feet
Ready to explore the magical, mysterious world of fungi? Whether you’re a curious newbie, a seasoned mycophile, or just after a whimsical forest walk, the Western Australian Naturalists’ Club’s main branch is joining the WA Nats’ Darling Range Branch for an adventure into the undergrowth.

What to Expect:
- Guided fungi foray in Kalamunda
- Learn to identify wild fungi
- Connect with nature lovers and local experts
- Fun, family-friendly, and full of forest magic
Bring along a camera to record your sightings, a mirror for examining the undersides of the fungi, and a curiosity to learn more. A folding field guide to local fungi ($10) as well as small ‘fungi mirrors’ ($5) will be available for sale. We will gather at the beginning and end of the walk to share and learn more from our experts.
