Our walk will take us through important Banksia Woodland, pine forest and along the northeast edge of Lake Joondalup. This area has one of the largest remaining stands of Swamp Banksia (Banksia littoralis), a species which once surrounded most of Perth’s wetlands. It will be peak flowering season when we visit. We will also have the opportunity to see many waterfowl and probably both white and red-tailed cockatoos as well as some raptors over the lake and many small birds in the bushland.

Bring:  Comfortable footwear and clothes suitable for the weather.  Note there are no toilets on site. Bring morning tea.
