The excursion to the Department of Fisheries planned as a follow-up to our May and June speakers’ presentations has been postponed. Instead, we will  meet at the western end of the Whitfords Nodes car park and take a short walk ( about 300m) along the beach, then on the path along the eastern side of the primary dune before  winding our way through the bush to the top of the lookout for splendid views along the coast and of the nearby osprey’s nest. A much faster descent down the steps will take us to the lawn area before we return to our vehicles. All up about 2km. Bring morning tea. (Image: Emerge Associates)
