WA Nats Bushwalking Group
Whistle Pipe Gully
Meet: End of Lewis Road, Forrestfield (car park can be very busy).
Details: This walk is short, 3.2 km, and almost all incline (about 130 metres) – uphill on the way out and downhill on the way back. The surface is rocky and in parts slippery, hard, sandy, lateritic, uneven and so a bit skiddy especially on the way down. If there is water in the creeks this may also impact walking surfaces. This is a beautiful walk but is quite challenging in parts.
Bring lunch and drinking water. Lunch will be back at the cars. If you want, bring chair/blanket and extra provisions.
Please be aware, if the weather dictates, the leader may choose to cancel or change the walk. Check the website for updates after 6pm on Saturday 7th June.
