Abyssinia Rock

Meet:          Meet at the carpark on the Brookton Hwy, on the right where the power line crosses the highway. That is 1.5 km past the green B80 (Brookton 80 km) sign, or 12 km past the Ashendon Rd Junction.

Details:       The walk is about 11 km, flat on the way out, a clamber over the rock and an ascent and decent on the return. Lunch on Abyssinia Rock.

Wear clothes appropriate to the weather and suitable footwear. Bring morning tea, lunch and drinking water to have during the walk. Optional afternoon tea, coffee and cakes back at the cars. If you want to stay, bring chair/blanket and extra provisions.

Please be aware, if the weather dictates, the leader may choose to cancel or change the walk. Check the website for updates after 6pm on Saturday 21st June.
