The February meeting was a Members’ night. Colin Prickett showed some photographs taken during spring and summer. Some of the photographs were taken at Goodale Sanctuary in early spring and showed Moaning Frogs, Huntsman Spiders, Quenda and Brush-tailed Possums spotted during the evening of a KRMB camp out.

There were also photographs of some orchids, including the Ray Spider Orchid (Caladenia radiata), Christmas Spider Orchid (Caladenia serotina) and the Babe-in-a-Cradle (Epiblema grandiflorum).

These were followed up by a series of photographs of shore birds taken at the Peel-Harvey Estuary over the summer. These included Bar-tailed Godwits, Curlew Sandpiper, Common Greenshank, Grey Plover, Red-capped Plover, Red-necked Stint, Great Knot and Red Knots. Banded Stilts, Great Egrets and Ospreys were also included. Colin Prickett
