
We are excited to announce that for the first time, the DRB is presenting a day-time course on Natural History in the Perth Hills. You, or your friends, family and colleagues are welcome to enrol.
- Enrolments are on 6th February 2017.
- Dates: Four consecutive Friday afternoons starting on Friday 24th February, and continuing on 3rd, 10th and 17th March 2017.
- Times: 12.45pm-2.45pm.
- Venue: Kalamunda Learning Centre, Jorgensen Park Pavilion, Crescent Road, Off Mundaring Road, Kalamunda.
- Fee: $16.00, plus a one-off $5 semester administration fee.
- Crèche available.
A beginners’ guide to natural history in the Perth Hills, February – March 2017
Tutors: Members of the Darling Range Branch of the WA Naturalists’ Club.
Learn about the birds, mammals, invertebrates and flowers of the Perth Hills and test your knowledge of our local natural history. Seen something in your area? Bring photos for identification too. This is the first time this course has ever been run anywhere and gives you personal access to some of the top natural history experts in the Perth Hills.

Enrolments at Jorgensen Park Pavilion: open Mon. 6th February 2017, 9.30am– 2pm. If places are left enrolments are also on Tues – Thur: 10am – 2pm and Friday 9.30am–noon.
Crèche available: Kalamunda Learning Centre have a professionally staffed crèche for children between the ages of eight weeks and six years – available for members when attending courses at the Centre.
