Bird List: Australian Raven, Galah, Black-faced Cuckoo Shrike, Singing Honeyeater, New Holland Honeyeater, White-cheeked Honeyeater, Pelican, unidentified pigeon or dove. The following were heard but not seen: Horsfield’s bronze cuckoo, Fan-tailed Cuckoo, White-browed Scrubwren.

Mammal List: The Western Grey Kangaroo.

Insect List: several specimens of unidentified caterpillars crossing a wet path.

Footnote: The walk was repeated on the following Monday with 13 people. No doubt, due to the presence of Ian Abbott and more sunshine, our bird count rose to 21 species, including a stunning Collared Sparrowhawk.
