About 25 past and present Club members The Darling Range Branch held an AGM on the 8th of November 2024 under Section 17.3 of the WA Naturalists Club Constitution to elect a committee of management.
Here is the list of all appointed unopposed:
- Chairperson: Arlene Quinn
- Treasurer: Bradley Cox
- Secretary: Natashia Mellor
- Deputy Chairperson/Membership Coordinator: Shelley Campbell
- Social Media Coordinator: Frankie Wallace
- Assistant Social Media Coordinator: Kendra Campbell
- Speakers Coordinator: Bradley Cox
- Committee Member: Eric McCrum, OAM
There were several vacant positions as follows:
- Excursion Coordinator
- Assistant Excursion Coordinator
- Assistant Treasurer for the second year running
Efforts will be made to fill the positions as quickly as possible to assist the branch functions in reaching optimum activities.
The Chairperson reported on the 50th Anniversary year of the Branch, highlighting many of the successes and opportunities for members to take part. It has been a long haul out of the Covid years, and now the Branch membership has slightly improved with family membership increasing.
