Our speaker for the June meeting was Bob Goodale who delivered a presentation on Goodale Sanctuary. Bob spoke on the same topic to the Main Branch in May and it was written up in the June newsletter. Consequently this report will not go into detail. Most of the audience was familiar with Goodale Sanctuary, KRMB includes a visit in our calendar each year as a rule; however, there was still much to learn from Bob’s talk. The results of some of the ongoing surveys were very interesting and it was the first time we had seen many of the photographs.. The presentation was an excellent primer for our field trip to Goodale Sanctuary on the same weekend. The montage of fungi photos gave us a hint of what we would see in the next day or so.
